During this one hour class children will design and invent using a variety of mixed media such as: recycled materials, clay, wire, and wood. Using their creativity and problem solving skills children will create structures individually and collaboratively. Once structures are complete students will draw pictures, develop a step-by-step plan of how to recreate the structure and share their construction strategies as a group.  Each week we will gain inspiration by viewing images of great structures from around the world and by reading books that connect to the creative process.
